Yeah, I have no idea what I was talking about with "post-techno" neither. I think what I was trying to say is that there now seems to be a style of electronic dance music which isn't straight "techno techno" but which isn't definably any other genre either. It's sorta electro, sorta techno, but mostly just weird and aggressive about it. It's still dance/DJ music so it's not "IDM" (which despite the "D" seems to have little to do with Dancing) and it's not really focused on the glitchiness, so it's not "glitch" so what is it?
Maybe it's just the sound of jaded 10-year ravers making techno records.. :)
