Thanks to Monkeymagic for indirectly pointing me to these virtual pages from Leonardo daVinci's Codex Arundel (Shockwave plugin required to view). Very neat stuff.
You can also look at some pictures of lifesize models made from daVinci's designs.
Did some spelunking through the Circadian Shift archives, and came up with the following additional linkage:
- Leonardo da Vinci, Master Draftsman -- an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City
- page with a number of drawings by Leonardo daVinci [Addendum: sorry, forgot to make sure the original link actually worked before posting it; the link works now (goes to a mirror page)]
- the complete translated text of The Notebooks of Leonardo daVinci
- a BBC site on Leonardo

The exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC was held in January and February of 2003. I believe it was the largest exhibition of Da Vinci's works ever gathered in one museum. I skipped work to see it, and even in the middle of the week it was rather crowded.
It was interesting to note the names of the donors who lent Da Vinci items to the Met for the exhibit. They included Her Majesty the Queen of England, and His Monopoly Bill Gates. (Gates also exhibited the Codex Leicester at the Seattle Art Museum in 1997, which just happened to coincide with a business trip of mine to Seattle. Nobody objected to a side trip to the museum.)
Check this link for a list of yet more links to Da Vinci material on the web. It's no surprise that he's so popular with Internet types.
