I broke down yesterday, and bought that Underworld compilation that I was rambling about, a while back. I'm liking it just fine, thanks.
Meanwhile, two music "best of" lists for your reading and critiquing enjoyment:
- Pitchfork Media's picks for the Top 100 Albums of the 1990s -- OMG, I feel so out of touch (via MeFi)
- Rolling Stone's choices for the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time -- great list if you're a baby-boomer; I don't know what the rest of us are supposed to make of it (via blogdex)

Where's the toque, eh?
Of course - first, I laughed at the Bland-American bias. It's just so many influential albums were either missing or ranked too low. How did Jackson's Bad even make the list?
Then, I look for Supertramp's Crime of the Century, any '70s Genesis, and the Frampton Comes Alive album.
Then I start to Wonder: DID ANY CANADIAN ALBUM MAKE THE LIST!!
