And here's the lyrics to spare you my warbling...
I Can Sing a Rainbow (by Arthur Hamilton).
Red and yellow and pink and green,
Purple and orange and blue,
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too!
Listen to your heart,
Listen to your heart,
And sing everything you feel,
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too!

i'm a synesthete. sometimes it's cool, sometimes it's annoying, but most of the time, it's just there. i was 11 when i realized that no one else i knew had this phenomenon. i felt incredibly alone. i was 27 when i realized that other people had it, the phenomenon had a name, and people had actually studied it scientifically. i felt like i had finally met long-lost siblings.
